Description
Comparative Religion offers the student an understanding of the world’s
major belief systems. Each faith arises from a particular culture but
has important truths for all of us. Students begin their journey of
discovery by taking inventory of their own beliefs.
Then through readings, lectures, and discussions, they are
introduced to the core tenets of each religion.
Students interact with guest speakers from a variety of
religious traditions. Finally, the students choose and present
research projects on religious topics of special interest to them. |
